Raising ambition to reach net-zero by 2050

Scientists and economists agree—transitioning to a net-zero emissions economy by 2050 is what’s best for our planet and its people. To avoid the worst effects of climate change, we need companies, countries, cities and communities to act with maximum impact. We need to reach net-zero by 2050 at the latest. Future generations, communities and companies will not survive without action now.

These are exceptional times, and exceptional times calls for radical ambition. We’re facing a climate crisis that cannot be ignored by any sector. It’s time for all companies to step up and commit to transformative action now. We cannot achieve the transition to the net-zero economy without business.
