With an aim to end tropical deforestation, Unilever and the World Resources Institute (WRI) have partnered to increase transparency in agricultural commodity supply chains.

Through this partnership Unilever will use WRI's the Global Forest Watch Commodities Platform to monitor forest cover change around its commodity supply areas and processing facilities, allowing the company to make more informed decisions and report performance against its sustainability targets.

Through its Sustainable Living Plan, Unilever is committed to reducing its environmental impact and ending deforestation across its supply chain and this tool will be a great help in allowing the company to move forward in achieving its targets.
